Congratulations

Congratulations goes out to all our students who earned their next rank at the last Belt Test. Way to go!! We’re so proud you all! Congratulations goes to Daniel L., Drake, Ella, Lupita, Nathaniel, and Spencer on earning their Jr. Yellow Belt, Bobbie, Camila R., Giovanni, Merik, Ryker, and Za’Vion, and on earning their Orange Belt, Joy on earning her Green Belt, and Leo, Othniel, and Taylor on earning their Purple Belt.

Sparring Class

All Traditional Keichu-Do students and Mighty Warrior students are invited to join us for Sparring Class. Classes which will be Friday, December 5th and December 19th from 7:15pm-8:15pm. The cost is $15 per month for the month. If you don’t have your own sparring gear, don’t worry we have gear you can borrow. Students do need to have their own mouth piece and boys need to wear groin cups. Sign up at the Front Desk to come!

Open Dojo

Open Dojo is for all Traditional Keichu-Do students and Mighty Warrior students. It’s an extra practice session to help you improve on the techniques you’ve been learning in class. Come and join us Saturday, December 6th, from 10:00am to 11:00am. Senseis will be there to help and guide students. Sign up at the Front Desk to attend.

Parent's Night Out

Join on Saturday, December 13th, for Parent’s Night Out Christmas Edition!! Parent’s Night Out is from 6:30pm-10:00pm and is full of fun, games, pizza, and a movie. Parent’s Night out is open to students, siblings, and friends of students ages 5 and up. Cost is $20 per kid. Sign up at the Front Desk to save your spot.

Dojo Christmas Party

All students and their families are invited to the 2024 CKD Academy of Martial Arts Christmas Party on Sunday, December 14th from 2pm to 4pm at Rancho Bowl!! R.S.V.P. by December 12th by signing up at the Front Desk. Be sure to arrive fifteen minutes beforehand and don’t forget to wear your dojo t-shirt. Individuals wishing to bowl need to turn in $13 by December 12th. It’s a good idea to wear tennis shoes just in case the bowling alley runs out of your size bowling shoes. If you would like to bring Christmas cookies please indicate that when you sign up at the Front Desk. We’re looking forward to having everyone join us!!

 

December's Sensei's Challenge

Sensei’s Challenge for November  are Jacknives. Your goal is to be able to do 15 or more within 30 seconds. Let’s see who will set the dojo record this month!

Christmas Break

The dojo will be closed for Christmas Break Monday, December 22nd, through Saturday, January 3rd. Classes will resume Monday, January 5th. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
