Sparring Class

All Traditional Keichu-Do students and Mighty Warrior students are invited to join us for Sparring Class. Classes which will be August 1st & August 15th from 7:15pm-8:15pm. The cost is $15 per month for the month. If you don’t have your own sparring gear, don’t worry we have gear you can borrow. Students do need to have their own mouth piece and boys need to wear groin cups. Sign up at the Front Desk to come!

Open Dojo

Open Dojo is for all Traditional Keichu-Do students and Mighty Warrior students. It’s an extra practice session to help you improve on the techniques you’ve been learning in class. Come and join us Saturday, August 2nd, from 10:00am to 11:00am. Senseis will be there to help and guide students. Sign up at the Front Desk to attend.

Keichu Training Day

Don’t miss out on the 10th Annual Keichu Training Day on Saturday, August 9th. Help us celebrate Keichu’s 65th birthday! Students in our Lil Warrior program will attend the 9:30am-10:15am session. Students in our Mighty Warrior program will attend the 10:30am t0 11:30am session. Please note that Lil Warrior and Mighty Warrior sessions require a parent to participate. Students in our Traditional Keichu-Do program will attend the 1:00pm to 3:00pm session. See Sensei Heather or Sensei Travis to sign up.

August Sensei's Challenge

Sensei’s Challenge for August is the Wall Sits. Your goal is to be able to hold a Wall Sit for 2 minutes. Who’s going to beat Sensei’s Challenge this month

Next Belt Test

Our next Belt Test will be Saturday, September 20th. Students who have shown in class that they have the required knowledge and skill for their next rank will receive a Notification of Testing. Those testing for Jr. Yellow Belt and Yellow Belt will test in the morning. Those testing for Jr. Orange Belt or higher will test in the afternoon. We’re looking forward to seeing many of our students earn their next rank!

Sparring Gear Order

We will be taking Sparring Gear orders starting August 1st through August 29th. Gear consists of Head gear, Hand gear, Feet gear, and Shins in the student’s choice of color. If interested in ordering please see Sensei Heather or Sensei Travis.

Dojo Closed

Heads Up! The dojo will be closed on Monday, September 1st, for Labor Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 2nd.
