Friday Night Fights

Friday Night Fights is open to all Traditional Keichu-Do students and Mighty Warrior students and is free of charge. Friday Night Fights will incorporate Sparring and Grappling techniques can give students another opportunity to reinforce what they have learned in class. Join us Friday, March 6th and March 20th from 7:15pm-8:15pm. If you don’t have your own sparring gear, don’t worry we have gear you can borrow. Students do need to have their own mouth piece and boys need to wear groin cups.

Open Dojo

Open Dojo is for all Traditional Keichu-Do students and Mighty Warrior students. It’s an extra practice session to help you improve on the techniques you’ve been learning in class. Come and join us Saturday, March 7th, from 9:00am to 10:00am. Senseis will be there to help and guide students. Sign up at the Front Desk to attend.

Parent's Night Out

Calling all kids ages 5 and up, give your parents an evening off and come to Parent’s Night Out on Saturday, March 14th. Enjoy an evening filled with fun, games, pizza, and a movie. Parent’s Night Out is from 6:30pm-10:00pm and is open to students, siblings, and friends of students. Cost is $20 per kid. Sign up at the Front Desk to save your spot.

March's Sensei's Challenge

Sensei’s Challenge for this month is the Knuckle Pushup Hold. You’re challenged to hold a Knuckle Pushup position for 2 minutes. Remember to practice each day so by the end of the month you’ll be able to pass the challenge!

 

Belt Test

Get ready!! On Saturday, March 28th we will be having a Belt Test. Students who have demonstrated in class that they have the knowledge and skill required for their next rank will be issued a Notification of Testing from the Senseis. This Notification of Testing allows them to test for their next rank on Saturday, March 28th. Those testing for Jr. Yellow Belt and Yellow Belt will test in the morning. Those testing for Jr. Orange Belt and higher will test in the afternoon. We are looking forward to seeing many of our students earn their next rank!
